![]() ![]() Our media grows from and responds to the simplicity and beauty of the architecture – designed by Ghanaian-British architect Sir David Adjaye.Shreeya Tyagi, Thoreau Bakker and Jeffin Philip They are deeply underpinned by the core messages of peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding, empathy, and acceptance promoted by the Abrahamic Family House. They each express elements of common humanity across three distinct faiths. Our media looks, in turn, at journeys of faith through everyday lives, the symbolism of light, the importance of the word, and the coming together of faith communities in places of worship. Squint/Opera produced immersive media for three dynamic and engaging installations at this ambitious cultural site. The Abrahamic Family House encompasses a mosque, a church, a synagogue, and a Forum where visitors are invited to participate in a unique environment, including guided tours, exhibitions, and opportunities to foster knowledge exchange. Squint/Opera worked with Ralph Appelbaum Associates to tell that story through dynamic animations, interactive tables, immersive media and soundscapes. Battersea then became Iconic in pop culture and a mainstay on the bank of the Thames. The station powered a fifth of London before shutting down in 1983. Set in Turbine Hall A, the exhibition serves as a prelude to the epic Lift 109 which at the peak of the station’s northwest chimney, offers unparalleled 360° views over London.īattersea Power Station is an iconic piece of British history with its own story to tell. The experience celebrates the Grade II* listed building’s historic and cultural influence. Squint Opera was responsible for the creative and digital design of a brand new, state-of-the-art immersive exhibition at Battersea Power Station. Squint/Opera created elements of a visitor experience that would provide informative entertainment for 1000+ waiting passengers at any one time, whilst respecting the tramway as a functional mode of public transport.įour immersive installations were developed to enhance the queuing experience for the Peak Tram: Once Upon a Tram, The Beating Heart, Upper Terminus and Go Wild at The Peak Lift 109 Experience at Battersea Power Station As a part of the redevelopment of the Peak Tram, Squint/Opera was commissioned in collaboration with Sarner International Ltd to create immersive digital media for the Peak Tram’s new visitor experience. It has carried visitors to the top of Victoria Peak since 1888 and currently provides transport for over 4 million passengers per year. The Peak Tram is one of Hong Kong’s most recognisable tourist attractions and the oldest funicular in Asia. Over the course of five years, we collaborated with Omanis to elevate their rich stories into experiences which will inspire generations to come. Squint/Opera produced over 50 media installations ranging from ultra-large format film and animation, interactive content and VR. The museum is of epic proportions and forms a unique legacy built to inspire the next generation. ![]() Oman Across Ages is a museum in two parts the history of Oman up to 1970 and the 50-year renaissance that followed under the reign of the late Sultan Qaboos. The project has been many years in the making and is the vision of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said. Oman Across Ages is a new national museum that will celebrate the creation of a nation, praise human endeavour and inspire young Omanis to connect to their rich history. Spanning over 35,000 square feet, the exhibits range from large-scale projection-mapped experience to single-user virtual viewers. A core contributor within the best-in-class team of interdisciplinary professionals, including exhibition designers Thinc Design and creative audio studio Antfood, we created digital elements for over 40 unique exhibits within the permanent exhibition. ![]() The result is an immersive experience which excites, educates and entertains visitors from the Empire State Building’s entrance to its observation deck. We worked on the Empire State Building Observatory, transforming the queuing experience into a carefully choreographed journey, seamlessly linking Squint/Opera designed digital elements with the building’s expansive history and current relevance in pop culture.
